.Matson 2nds produced a dazzling second half display to lift the Molson Coors Combination Junior Cup, overpowering Chosen Hill 2nds 30-11.
There had been little to choose between the sides before the break but three second half tries, including a brace from winger Mark Brow, sealed the win.
Chosen Hill made the better start and they opened up a 10-0 lead thanks to a Darren Rennebach penalty and a try from no8 and captain Marc Riddel.
Back row Rhys Wasley was driven over for Matson before the sides traded penalties up to the interval, Ryan Rennebach slotting over for Chosen and Liam Keating on target at the other end.
Another Keating penalty tied the scores at 11-11 early in the second half and that triggered the Matson revival.
Brow twice strolled in down the blindside from five-metre scrums and centre Conner Gwilliam rounded things off in the final few minutes with the excellent Keating slotting over two of the conversions.
